Dong was a very good supervisor, he was just not lucky enough to be the governer at the right time, or I should say, the first governer of hong kong under Chinese rule will always experience what he did. He wanted the first governership so bad, he threw every thing he had into that goal, when I was having dinner with him in island club, he told me that the first governership is a way for him to prove to his father, that he has jumped out the circle of wealthy merchants, and became a political figure.
